Art and Music

2015 began with an exciting mix of cross-discipline collaborations for Femme Lunatique Productions. In January, the Sorcery & Seduction CD was featured at the ‘Soil’ art exhibition, Horsebridge Centre, Whitstable. A short lecture/performance was given at the private view and subsequent days during the week-long event to illustrate how opera heroines included on the CD evoked the exhibition’s theme. Laure Meloy also appeared on Channel Radio’s Women in Business show, extolling the virtues of voice training for all professionals, not just performing artists. February brought lots of Valentine’s Love at the pop-up art gallery Workshop 34 in Sittingbourne. Both the CD and Art/Song badges were contributed to the Love exhibition there, and on the 28th ‘One Art’ made its UK debut at the Essence of 34 performance evening. (A local radio programme about the participants can be heard here: http://youtu.be/1NwG0m2FDXs) Also on the 28th, a Sing for your Sanity! workshop was held at Beach Creative in Herne Bay.
